Dear friends and family,
with heavy hearts we are
asking for your support.
Our father who just turned 72 had been fighting so many health battles lately. He was diagnosed with colon cancer, then laryngeal cancer, went through surgery, then radiation only for it to continue to matastasize half a year later. He had been struggling and fighting his best, of course while being the stubborn person he is and not always listening ❤️.
There were many times he could have given up but he didn't and kept going! This past week he finally started his immunotherapy to help slow the cancer which was great news! Sadly his bloodwork had come back saying some results were off and that it needed to be dealt with immediately. He ended up going to the ER, staying for a few days and resulting in him being able to go home this past friday. The past couple days it was so nice to see him like himself fully alert, smiling and making jokes again.
The following morning came, we believe after finally being home with family he was able to be comfortable and peacefully pass away.
With grief for his passing and gratefulness he is not suffering we are reaching out to our community for support in honoring our father Glenn Yamashiro's memory. Any contribution, no matter how small, will help us be able to honor Glenn in the way he deserves. This inturn will help us financially cover his arrangements allowing us to focus on remembering and cherishing our father Glenn Yamashiro with all our hearts
We also appreciate your thoughts, prayers, and messages of support during this difficult time. Your kindness means the world to us as we navigate through our grief.
