Help Glenn & Ashley Telgen During Glenn’s Cancer Treatment

Donation protected
I'm asking for your support for my brother-in-law and sister, Glenn Telgen and Ashley Telgen, as they face an unexpected and difficult challenge.

Glenn Telgen, Deputy Fire Chief for the Nashua, NH Fire Department, was recently diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. After more than 20 years of service to the department and community, Glenn is now taking time away from work to focus on treatment and recovery.

Both Vermont natives, Glenn and Ashley have been married for 21 years and have two children — Ryann, 18, a freshman in college, and Baker, 15, a high school sophomore. Like many families facing serious illness, they are now juggling medical appointments, expenses, and the reality of reduced income while Glenn is on short-term disability.

This fundraiser has been created to help offset medical costs, copays, travel expenses, and to provide some stability for the family while Glenn undergoes treatment.

Glenn and Ashley have always given — Glenn to his community and fire department, Ashley to her family and friends. Their kids, their friends, their colleagues, and their neighbors all know what kind of people they are: honest, hardworking, generous, resilient. They are the kind of people who don’t ask for help lightly. But right now they need a community behind them, because this fight is bigger than just one person. Any amount — large or small — will help ease the financial strain so they can focus on Glenn’s health and time together as a family.

If you’re not able to give, sharing this page with others or sending words of encouragement means just as much.

Thank you for keeping Glenn, Ashley, Ryann, and Baker in your thoughts as they take on this next chapter together.
