Supporting Glenn Sgarlato: A Tow Veteran's Journey to Recovery

On September 23, 2025, our beloved Glenn Sgarlato was severely injured while on a call for the Campbell Police Department. He and our driver, Heath, were hooking up a vehicle on the San Tomas Expressway when a car sped onto the shoulder, striking them both before crashing into a sound wall. They were both rushed to Valley Medical, where Glenn underwent a grueling 12-hour emergency surgery to address his extensive injuries.

Glenn sustained several serious injuries, including broken ribs (1-3 on his left side), seven T12 fractures in his mid-back, and multiple breaks in both legs. Specifically, his left tibia and fibula were broken in three places and his right in two. A rod was placed from his tibia, up through his knee, and into his femur to stabilize the breaks. He also received staples in his head.

For over 40 years, Glenn has been a dedicated tow veteran, spending his life helping people in their moments of crisis. Now, he's the one who needs our help. As a partner in our family business, Glenn is not eligible for workers' compensation. While he has his own medical insurance, there will be no other financial support. With a long road to recovery ahead, it's unclear when—or if—he will be able to return to work at full capacity.

We appreciate all the thoughts, prayers, and well wishes received, and are reaching out to ask for any support you can offer to help Glenn and our family during this incredibly difficult time. Your generous contribution will help us cover his ongoing medical and living expenses as he faces this long journey ahead.

With love,

The Sgarlato Family
