Support Glenn (Dave) Eugenio Jr.'s Kidney Transplant
Donation protected
Aloha, my name is Lori, and I am reaching out on behalf of my cousin Glenn Dave Eugenio, Jr. (aka Dave, Uncle Dave, Coach Dave) who is in urgent need of a kidney transplant.
Dave is the kind of person who always thinks of others and would give you the shirt off his back. He will drop everything to lend a hand, and ask for nothing in return.
In late 2020, Dave’s health took a sudden turn for the worst when he experienced end stage kidney disease, a result of reactions to medications prescribed to him. On January 6, 2021, he began life-altering home hemodialysis, which requires treatments 5 times a week and is physically exhausting. Sadly, his health continues to decline.
Dave requires a kidney transplant and is currently on the waitlist with the Mayo Clinic in Arizona. The procedure will require Dave to be away from home for approximately two months.
We are seeking your kokua and hope to raise enough funds to support the transplant costs not covered by medical insurance, as well as expenses required to make this transplant journey a success. It will involve flights, accommodations, transportation, meals, and any unforeseen costs associated with the surgery and recovery.
Dave and his wife, Anne, are self-employed, which makes this situation even more difficult. We want to ease the burden so they can focus solely on Dave’s surgery and recovery without the added stress of financial concerns.
Dave not only helps family and friends, he has dedicated countless hours/years of his life serving others, especially the youth in our community. As a coach for softball and soccer, he has helped many young athletes achieve their goals and dreams, with numerous student athletes receiving collegiate scholarships. It is now our turn to support him in his time of need.
For Dave and his 'ohana, this journey has been challenging, but knowing they are not alone will give them the strength to keep moving forward. Any support offered is deeply appreciated and brings us closer to Daveʻs transplant that he has been fighting so hard for.
Please share this campaign with friends and 'ohana, and anyone who might be willing to help.
