Help Grow Glendover’s Sensory Garden
At Glendover Elementary, our special education classroom is working to create something truly special: a sensory garden designed to engage all students in meaningful, hands-on learning.
This garden is more than just a place to grow plants—it’s a space for students to develop life skills, build confidence, and experience the joy of nature in a safe, accessible environment.
We’ve already planted our first flowers and established two raised beds. Now, with your help, we hope to expand this vision to include:
• Wheelchair-accessible garden beds so all students can participate
• A variety of fruits, vegetables, and herbs for growing, harvesting, and cooking
• Opportunities for students to follow recipes, taste new foods, and learn kitchen skills
• A partnership with our student-run coffee cart, Eagle Espresso, to sell harvested produce and support long-term sustainability
These experiences provide more than classroom lessons—they build independence, responsibility, and vocational readiness.
All donations go directly to the Glendover PTA, designated for the sensory garden project.
To mark his 43rd birthday, our campaign organizer is suggesting $43 donations, but gifts of any amount are deeply appreciated.
Thank you for helping us create a vibrant, inclusive space where all students can grow and thrive.
