Hi everyone! My name is Nani, and I am the daughter of the selfless Glenda. With a heavy heart, I share that my mom has been diagnosed with Triple Negative Breast Cancer– an aggressive form of breast cancer known for its rapid growth and high potential to spread. Glenda will have to endure 5 months of chemotherapy followed by surgery as she battles this disease over the next year.

If you are fortunate enough to know my mom, you know she is a very loving and caring person who gives so much to those around her. Glenda, 46, is a mother to me (Trinity/Nani, 25) and Dominic, 10, and a grandmother to Sariyah, 6, and Anaiyah, 2.

Throughout her life, Glenda has always put her family first. This year, she achieved a major milestone, completing her bachelor’s degree in psychology. She is set to graduate from Rowan University in May 2025. As many of you know, she loves football—GO EAGLES!! She loves to hang out and watch sports with the family. Glenda is the type of person who gives without hesitation, loves without limits, and cares without expecting anything in return. Her heart is open to everyone, and her love knows no boundaries.

At this time, I’m reaching out to our friends and loved ones to help rally around my mom and alleviate the financial burden she will face during this difficult journey. Our goal is to help ensure that our family can focus all of our energy on my mom’s healing, without the added stress of time away from work. My mom is the main provider in her household, and with this unexpected turn in her life, I’m hoping we can come together to provide enough support to cover her living expenses and household bills. This will allow her to prioritize her health and recovery, free from financial worries.
