For the past six months, my dearest friend Glenda has been fighting stage 3 aggressive Ovarian cancer.

Glenda is a devoted servant of God, someone whose deep faith and convictions are the cornerstone of who she is.

Now, Glenda is facing mounting challenges after 4 rounds of Chemo she is still facing at least 3 more rounds before a complex , complicated full hysterectomy and quite possibly parts of her colon and small intestines , being involved and other organs.

Without being able to work has made it difficult to cover basic household living expenses.

You know, just every day needs as she is waiting on SSDI benefits that won’t come until June or July because of the six months waiting period!

Life can be so complicated and unpredictable—while Glenda was making plans for retirement and working as a Medical transportation driver and gig worker she had no idea that a cancer was growing within her that would forever change her life.

It’s really hard to capture the depth of someone’s character in a short story, but let me try.

When I went through my own darkest days—Glenda was the friend who traveled four hours every Saturday for a year just to visit me and encourage me for one hour.

Her kindness and commitment have been a blessing in my life, and I know many others feel the same.

If you know Glenda, you know her devotion, her outspoken nature, and her unwavering belief in people and blessings, even after losing her children Danielle and Brett.

She cared for both of her parents until they both passed , moving to Michigan to care for her Dad!!

She loves her people with her whole heart!!!

Even her sweet fur babies Beni , Jazzy and Leo are her main concern at this time ! Knowing they are depending on her and are her Faithful companions!

Now, I’m asking you to join me in encouraging and supporting Glenda.

She has always been there for others. It’s time for us to show up and show out for her!

Let’s all help her make things a little easier and take away at least one aspect of her stress.
