Film lovers in central Ottawa know that Glebe Video International is an irreplaceable gem, the place where one can find thousands of films from around the world and through the decades - films no streaming service offers.
Glebe Video has survived through the worst of the pandemic thanks to its supporters, who donated to this fundraiser and who continued to visit the store to seek out its films to rent.
A new challenge came along in the form of the need to relocate. The new location (pictured) is just down the street, in the hall of Fourth Avenue Baptist Church, and the settling-in is just about complete.
You can continue to show your support for this community treasure by seeking out the store at its new location, where you can find just about any film, including new titles added weekly. We also continue to welcome your donations through this fundraiser, because as you can imagine, there were costs associated with the move.
We continue to be inspired in this effort by our sense of community. As we begin to look around again after long months of loss, it brings joy to see our cherished local stores again. Please help us to keep it so.
