Support shop owners at Plaza Mexico

ORIGINAL: Gladys and Margarita are two hardworking shop owners at Plaza Mexico in Minneapolis. For years, they have poured their hearts into their businesses, providing a welcoming space in the community. Recently, however, Plaza Mexico has been hit hard by increased ICE activity, causing fear and uncertainty among many of the shop owners and their customers. As a result, Gladys and Margarita have seen a dramatic drop in business, putting them at risk of losing their only source of income.

The funds raised through this campaign will go directly toward helping Gladys and Margarita pay their shop rent and supplement their lost income during this challenging time. Without this support, they may be forced to close their doors, which would be a tremendous loss not only for them but for the entire community.

Gladys and Margarita are immigrants who came to the US many years ago, seeking a better life and working tirelessly to build their businesses. Now, they are terrified of losing everything they have worked for. They are important members of the community, and your support can make a real difference. Please consider donating to help keep their shops open and show Gladys and Margarita that they are not alone.
