Support Gladis Ames

Dear family and friends:

 

A few of you know that my mom GLADIS AMES tested positive for Covid-19 last Tuesday, January 11th. For us, these moments are difficult and cause emotional distress, as she is currently in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at the San Pablo clinic in Lima, Peru.

 

This virus caused internal complications of several of her organs, as the heart was most affected, this caused her condition to deteriorate rapidly.

 

Due to her current condition, her insurance will not cover the cost of her accrued medical expenses. Currently, the doctors are working on a recovery plan, we remain optimistic, positive and hopeful, but we cannot predict the exact duration of this process.

 

As you can imagine, the sum is exorbitant so far, as we cannot count on assistance from her insurance as hoped. Every little bit counts! For this reason, we are reaching out and asking for help with our mother's care.

 

It's a stressful situation for all of us. We humbly ask that you please donate what you can. It's never easy to ask for help; we will forever be grateful for your kindness and charity.
