Gizzy is responding to multiple eye medications and eye drops which we give him 4x a day. The eyes are shrinking naturally and ulcers are healing. He still could use help paying off Vet charges … please share or donate if you can!! Thank You!

Hi I’m Marina.
This is our little dog Gizmo! A lot of people know Gizmo because He’s so cute and he’s so cool. He’s 12 1/2 years old and we have been sharing his pictures ever since he was a puppy and also a lot of people have met him and know how cute and funny he is.
Giz is really really hurting right now and is in a lot o pain and discomfort due to his problem with his eyes.
Gizmo was slowly losing his vision the last year or so but now has gone completely blind and the eyes themselves are causing him terrible pain and discomfort.
Glaucoma and bleeding ulcers in his eyes are is main distress.
This is far beyond Canine ueritis which is treated with medicine and drops.
There is no chance Gizmo’s vision wil return we know that now.
The options for us are now a very expensive Surgery or Shrinkage of his eyes.
A. Shrink the eyes after which there will be daily drops to lubricate the eyes for ever
B. 1 or 2 eye removal
… these two options are for his relief and to avoid further complications or infections.
We know that Gizzy definitely has a few more years to live and can be happy and comfortable.
He still has his energy and spirit though he’s really down and in pain right now.
These procedures have been estimated to cost around $4800 to $5800.00 and my Dad has already spent another $1000.00 last week to get him seen and get all these medications. He’s got 5 kinds of eye drops, antibiotics and pain pills.
I know my dad really doesn’t have enough money for any of this. We’re trying to start saving. We don’t have insurance to help with this.
We love our Gizmo so much! If we all share or pitch in even just a little hopefully we would have enough to get Gizmo Through this. We have a lot of friends and we are thankful to have a chance to make this happen him.
So please, if we all get together and donate or share this we can save Gizmo from his pain and discomfort and let him live to an old age!!
