Gizmo is unquestionably one of the hardest working artists in all of Brooklyn.
A truly beloved figure in her community, Gizmo Vintage Honey is a small business owner known for slanging unique vintage pieces and selling her hand painted t-shirts.
With her effortless vintage fashions, hilarious performances, & vibrant dance videos, she has come to be known for bringing her signature bright spark of energy and style to the the streets and to our Instagram feeds everyday and today she needs our help.
Personally, Gizmo has been a dear friend and sister of mine for the past almost 20 years and one of the main reasons I was able to come out of my shell and start on my path as a Dj. I'm forever grateful to her and she holds a dear place in my heart.
As many of you may have heard, recently Gizmo has suffered some severe health issues that have forced her to be admitted into the ER and as such she has been in the hospital for the past several days.. Being in extreme pain has prevented her from tending to her shop and providing the kind of personalized customer service she has become known for.
This has been an unbelievably stressful time for Gizmo and the goal of this Go Fund Me is to ease the financial burden so that Gizmo can focus on her health. She does not yet have a full diagnosis and doesn't know exactly when she will be able to return to work, but she can know that she has a community of people who love her and will support her through this tough time.
Let's rally around Gizmo as she works to reclaim her health and raise funds to help support her and her shop financially. The money will be used to pay for her expenses including rent & medical bills and allow her the time and peace of mind to fully heal and recover.
