Love is Eternal - Support for Giselle’s Family
Donation protected
With heavy hearts, we share that sweet Giselle transitioned shortly after midnight on June 17th, 2025. After fighting bravely through every moment of her illness, she is now at peace & forever surrounded by love.
Your support over the past few months has meant the world to Jordan & her family. As they now navigate the pain of grief and the many challenges that come with losing a child, your continued kindness provides comfort and stability during this time. Additional funds raised will go towards easing any financial burdens they may face.
Thank you for holding Giselle and her family in your hearts. Your love, prayers, and support continue to make a difference now more than ever.

Jordan, a nurse in Women’s Health at HUP, has been spending the past several months living next door at CHOP while her youngest daughter, Giselle, undergoes treatment for HLH. Her co-workers have set up this fundraiser in hopes of supporting her family during this challenging & emotional time.
HLH, Hemophagocytic Lymphohistiocytosis, is a rare, life-threatening syndrome that occurs when the immune system becomes uncontrollably activated, causing hyper-inflammation and multi-organ failure. First diagnosed in 2023 at 16 months old, Giselle has been fighting this diagnosis with strength and resiliency. She has undergone multiple hospital admissions throughout the past two years due to the symptoms & complications of this condition. This April, it was finally time to be admitted to CHOP to undergo chemotherapy in preparation for her bone marrow transplant which took place in mid-May. Giselle remains at CHOP while she recovers from her transplant.
Due to her long hospital stay and needing 24/7 support, care, and assistance, both of Giselle's parents are unable to work at this time & for the foreseeable future. Please consider donating to help them pay their necessary bills & continue to support Giselle and her sister, Gigi!
