Help Gisela Fight Breast Cancer After a Challenging Year

We are creating this GoFundMe for our dear friend Gisela, who recently received the devastating news that she has breast cancer. Her doctor informed her in early October that she needed a mastectomy six months prior, and with each passing day, the risk to her health increases.

The cost of the mastectomy, along with the medical treatments she urgently needs, has become an overwhelming financial burden. She is already facing expenses that no one should have to bear, and now she is in a battle for her life.

What makes this even more heartbreaking is that last December, before her cancer diagnosis, Gisela was in a severe car accident caused by a reckless driver. She sustained traumatic brain injuries, along with multiple physical injuries that required extensive treatment. This year has already been incredibly tough for her, as she’s been undergoing rehabilitation for her accident-related injuries, including cognitive, psychological, and physical therapy. Now, with the additional challenge of breast cancer, the strain has become unbearable.

We are reaching out to our community of friends, family and anyone who has the heart to help, to support Gisela in this critical time. The funds raised will go directly towards covering mastectomy, medical treatments, post-operative care and living expenses.
