This Inner-City Girls Basketball Team experienced an unexpected setback after their recent game. While the team was enjoying a meal together at Raising Canes Restaurant in Alhambra, their vehicle was broken into. Thankfully, none of the girls were hurt, but when they returned to the van, they discovered that many of their personal belongings had been stolen. Items taken included backpacks, headphones, phones, laptops, shoes, jerseys, and other essentials that the players rely on for both school and basketball.

This has been a difficult experience for the team, as these items are not only valuable but also hold personal significance for each player. The loss has created a sudden financial burden for the girls and their families, who now need to replace important school supplies, sports equipment, and personal items. Despite this challenge, the team remains resilient and determined to move forward together.
