My baby boy, Giovanni, is the best kitten I have ever encountered. He is a cuddly, curious, 9 month-old monstrosity (yes, that’s the perfect word to describe him) who loves to keep everyone on their toes. Unfortunately, due to his curiosity, he ate something that caused a blockage in his small intestine and needed to go into emergency surgery. Now, a week post-op, he needs yet another surgery due to complications.

Giovanni is my soul cat. He chose me to be his not the other war around. He was found on the streets in Honolulu, HI when he was only a couple days, if not hours, old and I have been doing my best to give him the best life possible. He only sleeps on top of me, whether that be on my legs or directly on my face, and I don’t know what I would do without him. I have never met such a loving, comforting cat in my life and he deserves all the love right back.

Although I have been doing my best in giving him the life he deserves, I am still just a working college student. I currently work two jobs while also attending school for education and cannot afford his extensive medical bills. My baby boy is everything to me and it makes me feel sick seeing him in pain. I want to do everything I can in order to give him a fighting chance at a long, healthy life.
