Support Giovanni to go to Silicon Valley!

Hi! I'm Giovanni, a young, ambitious guy from Italy who studied marketing in the US as a Fulbright Scholar and hopes to make a positive impact in the world. My journey, driven by an insatiable curiosity and a constant desire to learn, has led me to diverse study and work experiences, both in Italy and abroad. Over the years, I’ve become passionate about startups, innovation, technology, and sustainability.

I always say that the most stimulating and formative moments in my life have come as a result of occasions when I've seized opportunities. In this regard, Milton Berle once said, “If opportunity doesn’t knock, build a door,” and this has been a great truth for me. Every opportunity I’ve pursued has strengthened my belief that anything is possible with perseverance and the right mindset.

Now, I am faced with a unique opportunity: I’ve been selected for the Silicon Valley Fellowship, a one-week intensive program that allows participants to immerse themselves in the entrepreneurial ecosystem of Silicon Valley and San Francisco, experiencing firsthand what it means to be in the “promised land” of innovation, technological advancement, and startups.

The program, taking place during the first week of November 2024, includes workshops, company visits (Tesla, Google, Apple, etc.), and dedicated meetings with exceptional entrepreneurs and professionals. I'm confident this experience will not only enrich me personally and professionally but also allow me to contribute to the entrepreneurial future of my region, Sicily, and Italy.

However, to participate in the SVF, there is a program fee, and San Francisco is one of the most expensive cities in the world. Having recently completed my studies in the United States through a scholarship and my family’s support, it is now quite challenging to find additional funds to participate in this experience in Silicon Valley.

Since I don’t want to miss out on this opportunity after securing admission, I’d love to try raising $3000 through this campaign to cover the program costs ($2300), the flight ($160), and accommodation in San Francisco ($540).
