GoFundMe for Gin
When Tony first met Gin, she was lying in a ditch on the side of the road, in a cotton field, next to a cotton gin, so he named her Gin. She was abandoned and lying there unable to move, but still shaking her tail. He picked up her lethargic, frail, injured body and put her in his car. She couldn’t walk on her own. He couldn’t just leave her there; it would have killed him, so he took her into his home with his 5 other dogs, determined to save her life. She needed help immediately, so he took her to the emergency vet. She has BB pellets all over her body from someone shooting BB guns at her, and her leg was swollen. It was also determined that she had been hit by a car, and there is fluid around her left lung. But she’s surviving, and he’s taking care of her. After a couple of days, he noticed she also had blood in her urine. The vet said she was so starved and trying to survive that she probably ate a dead animal that had ingested rat poison and died, and she’s very sick from that. Tony is just a small-town painter, and he has 5 other dogs, so if you could possibly help and donate to her care so he can continue to get her the help she needs to survive. She still cannot walk and is wobbly when she tries to stand, but she wants to live. She is so sweet and docile; she never deserved any of this. Any amount helps. I hope to either adopt her out to my wonderful neighbors or keep her. Here are some pictures of her, pictures of her X-rays, and pictures of the bills for her vet care. Thank you.
