I was living my normal life—until I was told I have an aggressive brain cancer.

Now I’m fighting for my life against Glioblastoma, and a critical treatment could give me more time… but it comes at a cost we cannot carry alone.

Nothing prepares you for hearing that your life may never look the same again.

Last December, everything changed in an instant. I went from living my everyday life—loving my family, serving students as a school counselor, and looking toward the future—to receiving a diagnosis I never imagined: a brain tumor.

By February, I underwent surgery to remove it, holding tightly to hope and prayer through every step. But soon after came even more devastating news: the tumor was diagnosed as Glioblastoma, an aggressive and relentless form of brain cancer.

Since then, my life has been filled with radiation treatments, chemotherapy, and the emotional and physical challenges that come with fighting for your life. Soon, I will also begin wearing a specialized external radiation device nearly around the clock as part of this journey.

Now, my doctors have given me a new opportunity—one that offers hope for more time and a stronger chance at preventing the tumor from returning. I have been recommended to travel to Germany for a highly specialized, personalized immunotherapy treatment. This innovative therapy is designed specifically to help prevent recurrence, but it comes with overwhelming costs, including the treatment itself and repeated travel every 4–6 weeks for the length of the treatment. The initial cost of treatment is $80,000 (gofundme amount will adjust as needed).

I am fighting with everything I have—not only for myself, but for the people I love most. I will keep my spirits positive as always!!

I am fighting for my parents, now in their late 70s, who have always been my inspiration and strength. I am fighting for my wonderful husband, with whom I just celebrated 14 beautiful years of marriage, and for the many milestones we still dream of sharing together. I am fighting for our BEAUTIFULLY blended family with four amazing children, our wonderful daughter-in-law, and son-in-law, who bring endless joy and purpose to my life.

I am also fighting for the work that has been my calling for over 31 years. As a school counselor, I have dedicated my life to helping students navigate their hardest moments and believe in brighter futures. I am holding onto the hope that I can continue making a difference for at least a little longer before retirement.
