This is my friend Gina. She recently underwent major surgery to remove a very large tumor and her ovaries. The mass was the size of a softball, and the procedure was both urgent and severe. Thankfully, the biopsy results came back benign, but the surgery has left Gina facing a long and challenging recovery.

I've known Gina for four years, and she has always been a caring and positive presence in my life. Now, as she focuses on healing, she was denied SDI and is facing mounting recovery bills.
