Support Gina’s Place: A New Chapter in Jonesboro

This week, Regina McKay, the owner of Gina’s Place, learned her restaurant’s lease had been terminated. She has been given two months to find a new location and needs to move her entire operation by February 28th. With a tentative location chosen, Gina is now faced with the costly process of moving into this new space.

There are many expenses to consider for Gina to make the move. There are deposits required for this change, as well as electrical work necessary for the building prior to opening. Most significantly, there is the loss of income during this period in which the restaurant isn’t open. Many know how much Gina cares for her employees, and without the income from the restaurant, she cannot pay them.

Gina’s Place has been a presence in Jonesboro since 1983. Her good food provides us old-fashioned comforts. Her good heart has supported this community for decades through countless selfless acts of service. Her life’s work has always been serving the people of this town. A Jonesboro fixture who has supported so many of us now needs our help to ease the burden of moving and start the next chapter of Gina’s Place. Please donate to this cause and invest in a restaurant that is dedicated to nourishing the people of Jonesboro.
