Support Gina's Healing Journey After Tragedy

In the early morning hours of March 14, 2025, two sisters and their friend suffered gunshot wounds at their home. While two of them suffered superficial wounds (which by sheer luck weren't worse), one wasn't as fortunate. Gina Sartin received three shots, one to the abdomen, one to the foot, and one to the arm, shattering the bones and nerves to her elbow and arm. She has undergone reconstructive surgery and is still in the hospital.

Gina is salt of the earth and a dear friend who shows up like family. I can call on her and her sister Hailee any time of the day and they gladly help. These ladies make it a point to be a big part of my grandson's life. Many days I can text either of them and they have been known to leave work early to pick my grandson up from school or his bus stop. They push him to do his best and are always the first to show up. They aren't blood relatives, but they are more valuable.

Gina is going to require a lot of therapy and the weeks and months ahead are going to be tough for her as she begins her healing process, not only physically but also mentally and emotionally. She is unable to work and we're not really sure when she will be going back.

Gina is worried about her financial situation and with good reason. Her main concern is her car payment and her living expenses. I have her caught up on her car payment for now.

My hope is that we help buffer her blow as much as we possibly can so it will be one less worry on her mind and she can focus on healing.

I know a lot of people are struggling right now, but if you could just help with a few dollars, you have no idea how grateful she, her sister, and I will be. Please keep them in prayer as they have a lot they are dealing with right now.

I will continue to update Gina's progress. I will be visiting her at the hospital today.

I love these two people very much, and this was some undeserving craziness that could've been way worse than what it was. The perpetrator is still at large.
