On May 2, 2025, our dear friend Gina Sharman suffered the unimaginable loss of her husband, Robert, who passed away unexpectedly at home while undergoing dialysis.

Gina is a devoted nurse who cared tirelessly for Robert during his long battle with aHUS, a rare and devastating illness. Her love, medical knowledge, and relentless advocacy gave him years of life that would not have been possible otherwise.

We, the Harb family, have known Gina and Robert for over 20 years. They were not just neighbors—they were like family. Gina and Robert helped care for our daughters during their years at Awty International School, and their kindness and support left a lasting impact on our lives.

We’ve created this fund to help ease any financial burden during this heartbreaking time. Your donation—no matter the size—will help cover legal costs, basic living expenses, and allow Gina a chance to grieve.
