Support Gina Bianco, Beloved Coach and Mom

Hello, family, friends and acquaintances of Gina Bianco!

On Sunday, November 24, Gina fell and broke her L1 Vertebrae (in a non-work related accident). She has been hospitalized in St.Paul since her accident. The hope is that Gina will not have to go to transitional care, but rather be able to go home and recuperate while she awaits spine surgery.

The current plan is to allow her spine to heal for a couple of weeks, and then she will undergo the procedure in December. This surgery will allow her to fully heal and return to the ice!

Gina is a beloved skating coach in the Twin Cities area. We have organized this GoFundMe to support her while she is out of work. Gina is a single mother with two daughters, 2 dogs, and a cat. She is a private contractor (coach), so she is currently unable to draw any income. The medical bills are mounting and Gina still has a mortgage to pay, food to put on the table (and in bowls), and regular daily expenses to cover. We are hoping that we can rally around her and lift her up with some much needed assistance during this difficult time!

The best thing that Gina can do for her health right now is to eliminate stress and rest her body. Regardless of whether or not you are able to provide a financial contribution, we ask that you keep Gina in your thoughts and send her some good energy! She is most deserving!
