Hello! On October 15, 2024 my sister, Gina had surgery to amputate her leg. This was medically necessary of course. It has been a struggle for her since, trying to heal and learn to do everything over with her new "normal". In doing this, she had to temporarily give up her babysitting job which supplemented her income, not to mention the difficulty in being away from her babies that she loves so much. Then, just after this, her husband John ran into some medical issues, one right after the other. He has been hospitalized a couple of times and has been off work for the last couple of months and trying to get approved for short term disability though his employer. When it rains, it pours. These two would do anything for anyone and have. They are temporarily needing some help financially due to all of this. They would never ask, so I am asking for them. I know it is Christmas time and everyone is feeling the strain, but even $10 or $20 would help them be able to keep the lights and heat on until they can recover enough to get back to their normal.
