Gillian was in a major head-on collision Saturday afternoon on her way home from a baby shower. Her car (their family’s main source of transportation) was totaled. She is now in Regions hospital with multiple injuries including broken ribs, cracked sternum, pulmonary embolism, as well as muscle strains and contusions. She was just slated to start a new job and does not have FMLA or disability leave.
