Support Gillian's Houston Ballet Intensive Fund

Dear Friends and Family,

We have some exciting news to share! Our talented niece, Gillian Shuck, has been selected to attend the prestigious Houston Ballet Summer Intensive this year. It's an incredible opportunity for her to hone her skills and pursue her dream of becoming a professional ballerina. We're all incredibly proud of her hard work and dedication, and we want to support her in every way we can.

Unfortunately, the costs of attending the program are quite steep. This is where we humbly ask for your help to alleviate the financial burden for Gillian and her family. We're aiming to raise $5,000 to cover tuition, transportation, and other expenses associated with the program. No contribution is too small, and Gillian would be deeply grateful for your support. My name is Gillian Robertson Shuck. I am 15 years old and a sophomore at Montgomery High School, as well as a Santa Rosa Junior College dual-enrollment student. I work at Marin Dancewear to be able to afford needed and required dance materials, such as pointe shoes. I currently dance at a small theater, Santa Rosa Dance Theater.

I have been dancing for about 14 years. My dream and goal is to become a professional ballet dancer. The first ballet I ever went to was the Houston Ballet's production of The Nutcracker. I have been accepted into the Houston Ballet Summer Intensive! Now I have the opportunity to dance, train, and learn from all of my idols.

Unfortunately, my family is unable to pay for all the costs; such as tuition, transportation, etc. This is such an amazing opporutnity for me to gain inside information on this kind of environment and all that The Houston Ballet has to offer.
