Support Gillian's Fight: Help the Fisher Family

This GoFundMe is for the Fisher family. Gillian has Phelan-McDermid Syndrome and with complications she has been in the hospital for going on 2 months. Gillian's Dad is the financial provider for their family but with the seriousness of her condition he has taken off work to be with Kristina, Gillian and little brother Blake. She is in a coma and they will be placing a trach this week so she may learn to swallow again. They need our love, prayers and financial support more than ever.

UPDATE: Due to complications from aspiration pneumonia & damage to her vocal cords from the vent tube, Gillian had a tracheotomy surgery performed last week. They will be working to slowly bring her out of sedation this week. Then they will begin the long process of learning to live with & take care of her while she has this trach. She will most likely have to go home with the trach & not only will her room require renovation to accommodate the equipment & hospital bed but also she will require 24 hour nursing care. Gary and Kristina are praying that Gillian can have the trach removed before leaving the hospital but are planning for the worse.
