Support Gilbert's Battle Against Lymphoma

Gilbert has been diagnosed with stage 3 Hodgkin's Lymphoma and scheduled to begin Chemotherapy mid June, 2024.

Prior to his cancer diagnosis Gilbert was active, self-employed, and the primary caregiver of his father who has the diagnosis of Dementia, he requires 24 hour care and supervision.

Gilbert's father, Gilbert Sr. is a decorated Vietnam Veteran, he received 3 Purple Hearts during his tour in Vietnam.

Gilbert is a dedicated son who often took his father to work with him allowing him to leave the house and remain safe.

Gilbert's mother Ginny has left her home in Texas to assist Gilbert in the difficult journey that lies ahead.

Recently Gilbert was hospitalized with complications of Hodgkin's Lymphoma, he required blood transfusions, a bone marrow biopsy, and placement of a central line in his chest to allow for venous access.

Gilbert has been the primary breadwinner in the household, due to this illness he has not been able to work.

Gilbert is a modest man and lives simply, but the inability to work has put a financial burden on him which adds to emotional distress.
