My name is Luz Maria. I’m here asking for help from the community.

On Oct. 18, 2025, my fiancé, Gilbert Real, was hit by a drunk driver. Unfortunately, it was someone we had met a year ago and opened our doors to be our friend and a part of our family events. We came to find out that he is a dangerous person and is still at large.

Gilbert suffered an injury on his right leg. He will need multiple surgeries for the doctors to save his leg. He will be out of work for about a year. I’m currently out on disability and will only be able to return to work part-time until I heal from an ankle surgery. Any donation will help to pay for medical bills, home nurses, and medical equipment Gilbert will need. I want to thank everyone in advance for your help. I also ask to please add us to your prayers.
