Support Gilbert Gooch-Smith's Recovery Journey

Gilbert is more than a friend and family! He is a United States Veteran and Currently Works Armed Security for Selfridge Airbase.

To everyone that is mutual friends to Gilbert Gooch-Smith. My name is Billy Petts and most of you know me, through Gilbert. Gilbert and I are like Brothers. With the permission of his Mother Julie Gooch-Smith I have Created This Gofundme.

As you know he was taking some time away from social media. As tough, as he is, he is not one to ask for help. I know hes been a great friend to many and been there for alot of people over the years including myself. He was currently involved in a roll over accident hunting up north in a side by side. Gilbert is going to be ok, and currently coming out of surgery. He broke his Tibia and this is gonna be a 6-12 month recovery time for him. At this time he will be out of work, and no income. He is currently resting/sleeping after surgery, but Would like to get something going to help him with this burden he has to tackle. I’m sure some of you aren’t stranger to surgery as well. Step 1 healing. Step 2 is physical therapy and learning to walk again step 3 will be gaining strength back this is gonna be a long process and I kindly asking you to consider donating to this gofundme. The funds will go directly to Gilbert, to assist with any medical bills, financial hardship, and other items to help him during this process. I know it’s the holidays coming up and I know Gilbert is the type of guy that would do this for any of us and has been that guy for many. Lets wish Gilbert healing and prayers during this time and make his full recovery less stressful. ❤️
