My name is Gilbert (Gil), I’m an 81-year-old grandfather, father, and husband. This past December, I celebrated 60 years of marriage with my beautiful wife.

I’ve developed renal (kidney) failure. I’m currently (11 months) in a dialysis clinic 3 days a week.

Due to my otherwise good health and all lab work, I’ve been accepted as a screening candidate for a kidney transplant at Tampa General Hospital.
