Support GiGi’s Healing: Life-Saving Surgery & Kidney Care

My name is Erin, and I’m raising urgent funds to help my 5-year-old Goldendoodle, GiGi, recover from a life-threatening crisis and return to the healthy, joyful life she deserves.

Just days ago, GiGi was her normal, affectionate self. Then everything changed—she stopped eating, became weak and withdrawn, and began leaking a strange discharge. We rushed her to the emergency vet, where she was diagnosed with open pyometra, a dangerous uterine infection that is fatal without immediate surgery. At the same time, she was found to be in acute kidney failure, which made the situation far more serious.

GiGi underwent emergency surgery and is now receiving round-the-clock care to stabilize her kidneys, manage pain, and support her body as it begins to heal. She’s fighting bravely—but she’s not out of danger yet.

The cost of her care—between $3,295 and $4,178+—includes:

• Emergency surgery to remove the infected uterus

• ICU hospitalization

• IV fluids, antibiotics, and kidney support

• Post-op monitoring and continued bloodwork

I’ve used every available resource—CareCredit, emergency grants, outreach to local rescues—but I can’t cover this alone. Every donation helps give GiGi the time, care, and comfort she needs to recover and come home.
