Gigi Teoh is a loving mother, sister, and wholesome person who has always been there for her family and friends. Recently, she began experiencing stomach discomfort. She did not want to burden anyone and held off for a bit, but after a stern prompt for her sister, she went to the ER. From this visit, we all received the devastating news that she has colon cancer. Living in the Philippines, where medical bills add up quickly and support is limited, this diagnosis has brought not only tremendous, emotional pain but also overwhelming financial stress to our family. The expenses have been sudden and immense, and we are struggling to keep up with the mounting costs.

Gigi has already undergone surgery, but unfortunately, the doctors were only able to remove part of the cancer. Complications after the surgery have led to even more medical challenges and expenses. The bills became so large that we had to move her from her initial hospital to another facility, just to try to manage the costs. Despite these efforts, the expenses continue to pile up, and we are still trying to recover from what has already been spent, while also preparing for more hospital stays, ongoing care, and chemotherapy that lies ahead.
