So on Feb 18th, about 12 pm, my house caught fire and burned to the ground. Truly a blessing that no one was injured. I lost my 2 lil dogs and everything I own. I am a strong woman, but I recently had major surgery and am off work with heavy restrictions for 8 to 10 weeks, making this even more stressful. I don't usually ask for help, but now I have to ask. I have been in contact with a few different places to help get my housing back. As most of you know, I live in an off-grid homestead. It is too far from warm weather for me to stay in a tent on the homestead to take care of my animals. Also, I have to stay close to my animals to care for them. In addition, my feed for my animals burned up with the cabin. I am going to set up a GoFundMe, and also post my Cash App account ($DenMutha73) and Venmo (Gigi Thompson@DenMutha73) that people can send donations there. I have messaged on a few trailers and am going to contact my local housing to see what they have available. Until then, I am in a hotel in Colville, in my car, or going to try to find a local couch to surf. 5 years I have been working on my lifelong dream to have it just go up in smoke is heartbreaking. I will survive, I always do. To lose my best little fur babies, Archer & Little, is heartbreaking. The last year of my life has been exhausting to say the least, only to have everything gone. I know that things are tight for everyone right now, but everything helps.

To add, my vehicle for getting back and forth is in rough shape. If there is anyone out there that can do a diagnostic check on it and fix it for a good price, I have the availability to get help paying for the repairs but only to a certain extent.
