Support Chris (Gift) Hubbard’s Recovery

After experiencing massive trauma and life-threatening injuries, our dear friend Chris (Gift) Hubbard has been fighting for his life over the past month spent in the ICU. He has survived the worst phase and is on the path to recovery, but this will require several major surgeries, including open heart surgery to replace a damaged aortic valve and spinal fusion surgery in the coming weeks and months. We are raising funds to support him through these surgeries as well as hospital stays, recovery care, physical therapy, etc. He is already making miraculous progress, but he needs our help.

About Chris:

Chris is truly a Gift! He has been an integral member of Taiwan's yoga community for over a decade. He co-founded Oceansound Yoga festival and has traveled around the world to learn and practice yoga. He is a beloved son, family member, and friend to many. His incredible sense of humor, authenticity, and big heart are some of the qualities that we love and cherish.

How can I support Chris?

Although Taiwan's healthcare system is more affordable than the US, the cost of surgeries and staying in the hospital adds up quickly. We would like to support Chris by covering all of his hospital bills.

Thankfully, Chris has a great team of physicians in Taiwan, along with his dad, and a strong support network of friends. He is in good hands and we trust he will heal.

How will the funds be used?

Although the complete breakdown of costs is unknown at this time, we are setting the goal of $50,000 USD to pay for surgeries and other hospital bills. The funds will go directly to pay for Chris’s medical bills.
