I’m directing my thesis film, titled "Mfumu: Tales of Bloodline" the story of James, a young African-American man who discovers he is tied to a forgotten African royal bloodline just as he is asked to secure a corporate mining deal in his ancestral land, Malawi.

This film explores African heritage, culture, and identity while shining a light on pressing issues like corruption, greedy, and the struggle to preserve tradition. It’s a story that speaks to global audiences, inspiring dialogue about justice, responsibility, and the power of reclaiming one’s roots.
