Hello my name is Giavanna Williams, I am a student filmmaker, content creator, and director based in Syracuse, New York. I am on the path to earning my BFA in Film from Syracuse University. Throughout my 4 years at Syracuse, I have made many connections and gained valuable experience through internships at WorldStarHipHop and Reda Films, where I have worked in archival, pre-production, and talent management roles.

My final school project is my senior thesis where I put all the knowledge I culminated throughout my years and showcase it in a film that has been written and will be directed by me. I can only do this with the help and donations of others to receive the funding I need.

My film Last Stop Longline- When a girl named Amber boards a coach bus home for the holidays, she forms a connection with another traveler, their journey takes a dark turn when their bus breaks down in the Appalachian mountains. Stranded and with no cell service, they accept help from a seemingly benevolent police officer, unaware that they are stepping into a sinister trap that puts their lives at risk.

I throughout the film, I approach topics like sex trafficking, hints at larger societal issues, such as missing persons (seen in the gas station) and human trafficking, which become central to the plot’s climax. I also touch on isolation and vulnerability in young women traveling alone.

I am filming on November 22nd -November 24th and will be submitting it to film festivals after editing and postproduction. My crew and I are very excited to shoot "Last Stop". My film has a high monetary production value. The funds of this project will be going towards feeding and housing crew, renting out locations such as the bus, gas station, and other smaller expenses. It will go towards props and submission fees of film festivals.
