As some of you may know, we traveled from Washington to California to celebrate Gianni’s 8th birthday by taking him to Disneyland for the first time. What was meant to be a joyful celebration quickly turned into a frightening situation. On the day we were supposed to visit Disneyland, Gianni was rushed to the ER because he was struggling to breathe. He has been hospitalized since Tuesday, March 31st, 2026, and at this time, we still do not have a definitive discharge date. Being so far from home has made this even more challenging. We came without many essentials, leaving us without clean clothes and basic necessities, and the cost of transportation and being away from work has added significant stress while we focus on staying by Gianni’s side.

Gianni requires constant medical care and oxygen support, and we are doing everything we can to support him through this extended hospital stay. Any support helps ease the financial burden so we can be fully present for his recovery.
