For those who know our family, know Gianni is the light of our life, my first baby. Our sweet 7-year-old Gianni has been the heart of our family — loyal, gentle, and always by our side. The day before Christmas this year, our world was turned upside down when he suddenly became ill and needed emergency surgery to remove his spleen. While the surgery was lifesaving, we are now facing the terrifying possibility of cancer as we wait for test results.
