Support Gianna Johnson's Fresh Start

This gofundme is for Gianna Johnson.

If you’ve had the pleasure of meeting and knowing Gianna, you would know what a special young woman she is. She is bright, beautiful, caring, selfless, kind, funny as hell, and hard working. Gianna has experienced her fair share of adversities in childhood, through no fault of her own, and blossomed into the most resilient, strong, young adult that she is today. She is the role model that I hope my daughter, Cadence, will see when she’s older, and the reason she is Cadie’s Godmother.

Gianna currently works full time as an EMT in Northern Dutchess and is putting herself through Nursing School full time at Columbia-Greene Community College, which she just started in August 2024.

But that’s not why I ask you for your support for Gianna. Unfortunately, Gianna experienced a recent tragedy when her live-in boyfriend tragically lost his life. For respect of his family and Gianna’s privacy, no additional details will be shared here. As a result of this tragedy, Gianna moved out of their apartment and made the decision to leave some things behind.

Despite her adverse life experiences, Gianna would never ask for help. I have always had to take initiative on my own to send her a random Venmo or Amazon delivery based on our conversations.

Many of you have asked me and Gianna, if there is anything you can do or if she needs anything during this difficult time. It would mean the world to me, and to her, if I could help Gianna with a fresh start and let her know that there is an entire community of family and friends who love and support her.

The funds raised will go to housing (security deposit on a new apt), housewares, furniture, and any supplies needed for school (desk, books, etc).
