Support Giana's House: Fire Alarm Fund

Being the parent of a child with special needs has its challenges. One of the biggest being, what will happen to my child if something happens to us? For years we have been searching for a place where Giana, along with other individuals like her, could feel at home, secure, and loved as an adult. Finally our prayers were answered as we met the most amazing family who was in the process of opening a group home for adults with special needs less than a mile from our house! This home offers a safe, nurturing environment for Giana and many others during the week. However, due to an ongoing approval process with the city, Giana and her friends have not been able to make this their permanent residence.

They are on the brink of crossing the finish line after nearly two years of tireless efforts. Unfortunately, they’ve recently encountered an unexpected hurdle — the cost of installing a fire alarm system, a necessary step for final approval. The cost is significantly higher than anticipated due to the age of the home, and it's the last barrier standing between Giana and her friends making this their forever home.

Giana's house, over the years, has exhausted its resources to meet the ongoing expenses and is presently unable to bear the cost of this fire alarm installation.
