Support Get On The Bit Farm's Recovery

Roughly 2 years ago my daughter started horseback riding lessons at Get On The Bit Farm. Through out the last 2 years, her riding coach has helped us extensively. Especially my daughter, where horseback riding became her therapy. Recently, about a month ago, someone broke into her home and attacked her. She needed emergency surgery to have five plates put in her eye, as her orbital socket was shattered , and was left blind in that eye. She had bleeding behind the eye, because of the impact, and will have to have surgery in the future to fix the damage done in that eye. A couple weeks later she ended up back in the hospital due to a slow internal bleeding that they couldn’t locate. She was released, and on Mother’s Day unexpectedly woke up in severe pain and had to call 911, as her stomach was rupturing. She again had to undergo emergency surgery to fix the rupture. She has had to take a lot of time off from the farm, and taking care of her animals, to recover from all of this and the unexpected unknown injuries continue to set her back. Not to mention the therapy her family will need, for what she had to endure. Get On The Bit Farm is her livelihood, and she has lost a lot of income as a result of this. As we all know, the bills don’t stop because we’re forced to take a seat. The animals still need to be fed everyday, as well as all of the other care they require. On top of the farm, she has kids, and her own house and bills to maintain. I set up this go fund me to help her not only get the help she needs, or will need, but also recover her losses from the time she’s already had to take off. She has been an active part of the community and our local kids providing therapy, camps, and providing children with a sense of security and accomplishment.
