Support Åge’s End of Life Care

Our dear friend Åge has lived a long, beautiful, and adventurous life.  And he is coming to the end of his journey in this body. 

For much of the last year, a very small group of people have been taking care of his needs, andfacilitating his desire to remain independently.

In the last week it has become clear that in thetime he has remaining, Åge requires 24/7 caregiver(s) starting immediately,  and that his local friends are not able to provide the type of medical attention for his body that he really needs at this point.  Your donation will help provide for caregivers—this service costs $280 per day.  He will also be having a hospital bed delivered tomorrow, and will continue to have members of his hospice team visit a few times per week   

Åge’s wish is to be able to die at home and this will facilitate that wish - without the caregiving support, he may not be able to stay home safely and in comfort.  

He has brought much laughter and so many memories, to all of our lives.  Thank you in advance for helping him to have these last days be at home, in peace.
