Hi, I am raising funds for my 1-year-old Maine Coon. When she came into heat for the first time, her mammaries swelled up. She was spayed a month later, but she produced milk, and her mammaries were so engorged with milk. She was given a medicine to stop milk production, but her mammaries grew to baseball size, full of milk. We did a hormone test, and it has been determined that she has no hormones left, showing she was fully spayed. She has now been referred to Iowa State Vet Hospital to see the internal medicine and theology team. This will be a 2-hour long ride there and very expensive to find out what is happening with Gertie. Anything helps.
