Hey all! I’ve come on here to ask for help with assisting my mother in her battle with cancer. Last year, she was diagnosed with stage 3 colon cancer. After many tests and doctor's appointments, she is finally starting her chemo at the end of October.
She has worked her whole life tirelessly to provide for my siblings and me, and we anticipate the next few months to be very hard on her financially. She was doing what she could to maintain her finances when, unfortunately, 2 months ago, she was hit by a drunk driver. She lost her car and her ability to walk for almost 6 weeks and is now getting back on her feet to work again for a little before her chemotherapy.
I work 3 jobs to do what I can to help her, but two rent payments, car insurance, and both of our bills will be too much for me to pay alone for the 3 months she is doing chemotherapy and unable to work. My goal for her is $10,000 to help cover her rent and bills during the duration of her chemotherapy and radiation. Anything helps, thanks everyone so much.
