Help GSROC Save Celine

UPDATE: I visited Celine at the shelter this weekend to make sure she had not been euthanized. I let the shelter know that there is interest in her and that we are trying to raise money for the rescue.

She is sharing a kennel with another dog. So she is good with other dogs. The other dog was amazing too. So many great dogs and not enough wonderful homes. It's so hard to leave dogs behind.

Celine was so mellow and friendly, she will make a great addition to a loving family. We're getting closer. THANK YOU to everyone who has donated so far. THANK YOU!

As a long-time dog rescue supporter I'm reaching out to you to support German Shepherd Rescue of Orange County (GSROC). They are working with me to help put a plan in place to help save this particular dog, who we've named Celine (listed at the shelter as Kia), that I found roaming in a parking lot near a busy road (Van Buren Blvd in Jurupa Valley). She's very friendly, so sweet and loves to cuddle.

Even in a not so ideal environment, she was calm and so adorable. Unfortunately, she had to be taken to a local high-kill animal shelter on 7/23/25 and she doesn't have much time there so we need to act fast.

Your donation will help her get vet care, boarding, food and all the other very expensive things the rescue must do to get her into adoptable shape and find a loving home. You can tell she had been on the streets for a while with her ribs very visible and she was scrounging for food.
