Support Gereta & Paul Wanza

Hello Family & Friends,

 

I am Tamara, Gereta's only biological sister and Paul's sister-in-law. As many of you know, Gereta is facing serious health challenges. Specifically, she has been diagnosed with Amilydosis, a rare protein disease that attacks her major organs. As a result, she has congestive heart failure and kidney disease. She is being treated by doctors at both Hermann Memorial and Houston Methodist. She's currently in ICU at Houston Methodist (Woodlands).

 

I've been in Houston going on 3 weeks now helping Paul for her care. I've retrieved the mail and while Paul has medical insurance through his job, the non-covered medical expenses are starting to mount. I know it would be a big help to Paul if we could donate to help him with his medical expenses.

 

Paul is a man of great faith and he loves his wife. He told me that he "will fight for her life." He is doing everything spiritually and medically possible for her.
