Hello, my name is Keri Fox and my brother, Geremy Fox, was just recently diagnosed with renal cancer. He has 4 masses on his right kidney, which are all cancerous, and some cysts on his left kidney, which they don't believe are cancerous. Surgery is scheduled for October 2! Dr. Patel and his team will work on his right kidney, removing the 4 masses (one mass is 1/4 the size of his kidney). The biggest mass on the right does have blood flow through it and will be risky with vessels healing. They will test them after removal, and if the right kidney survives, they will schedule for a later date to remove the ones on the left!

Geremy Fox grew up in Poplar after we moved here from Oklahoma and graduated from Poplar High School. He moved back to Oklahoma shortly after high school, started his career in construction, got married, and started a family. He has 2 daughters, ages 11 and 13, and a son who is 5. He has his own construction company and is the hardest worker and the best dad that I know. He coaches his daughters in softball and his son in t-ball, goes to every sports and school event they have, and would help anyone out who needed it.

He will be out of work for 6 weeks following the surgery, which will put a financial strain on him and his family. Following the surgery, he will need to do immunotherapy and possibly have another surgery on his left kidney. I am helping to raise money to support him and his family during this time. He does construction and won't be able to work at all for at least 6 weeks and the medical bills are adding up.
