Hello family and friends, I come with a humble heart in hopes of being able to come together to help my husband Gerardo Rico and our family cover the mounting health care costs so that we can focus on making the best decisions for treatment for him. My husband has been fighting cancer for over a year now, he relapsed in November 2025 and we got the news that it transformed to a more aggressive cancer. He had a cell transplant, unfortunately with this came a lot of complications that he is fighting against daily in prayer with faith, mentally and giving it his best fight physically. My husband has been receiving care in Dallas area since December 2025. We will need continued housing in downtown Dallas for 6-8 more weeks, day to day living expenses being away from home, out of pocket expenses toward personal medical supplies for him and modifications needed for our home for comfortable daily living for him.
